I am a current faculty member at Treadwell Middle who has formed a students Garden Club. Our project this past year was to begin renovation of the courtyard garden area north of the building. Can anyone give me any history about this area, such as when was it built, was it dedicated in someone's name, who paid for it, what was it used for, any special memories you might share. I am trying to connect my students to the concept of local history and this would be a great place to start. Thanks for your help!
