About Me	Raised in Baltimore, MD, I played the flute in the high school band and in the Baltimore All County Orchestra for 5 years, first chair for a couple of those. I enjoyed school sports, swimming, and spring board diving, but not very good with the diving. I love watching college football games in the fall. I have a twin sister Peg and older sister Kay. We spent summers at Stoneleigh Pool and Meadowbrook Swim Club in Baltimore. While attending VA Intermont, I was fortunate to receive credits for studying Europeon History and traveling with the class to Europe for 6 weeks. While on the French Riviera in Nice, I met a handsome GA Tech Navy midshipman who became my husband in 1966. We were married 41.5 years. He died November13th, 2008 after battling dementia for 10 years. We have 2 grown children (Christy & TJ), a daughter-in-law (Christina), and 2 grandsons (Derick & Patrick). Terry flew A6-A Intruder jets during the Vietnam war, and we moved a lot, living in GA, VA, CA (where he earned his Master's Degree) and most of his military life on Whidbey Island, WA, We settled in the suburbs of Seattle in 1978. My grown kids live within 7 and 13 miles of me respectively, for which I am very thankful. I was fortunate enough to have been the traditional homemaker, raising my children, enjoying preparing creative meals, gardening, and worshiping the Lord with my family.
