About Me	I am still managing construction of multiple major projects throughout Texas. My current projects include residential land developments, multifamily, mixed-use, food manufacturing plants, office buildings and warehouses. However, one of the assignments I am most proud of in my career is the return to my alma mater, Kansas State, to lead a team of forty students studying potential new uses of historic Ahearn Field House. I am looking at Ahearn becoming a multi-purpose facility with 1st Floor exhibit and meeting rooms, a second level containing demonstration teaching classrooms, a third level of collaborative areas for sharing with K-State Salina and a fourth level open to Ahearn’s ceiling of performance and practice areas that the Music Department will use. We’ll build a partial basement on the south end of Ahearn for food preparation functions and storage and add a couple of floors to the present parking garage south of the Student Union. When complete, the nearby Holiday Inn (or whatever it becomes), expanded parking structure, Student Union and Ahearn all become connected with elevated walkways. I anticipate that we will have our study complete by the end of May 2023 and start presentations to the City of Manhattan and university administration at that time. I am very hopeful that we can return Ahearn to its rightful importance on the K-State campus.
