Jon Warren Morgan, 42, Topeka, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at his home.
Mr. Morgan had been a computer technician for many years and was working for Key Temps at the time of his death.
He was born June 6, 1959, in Emporia, the son of Robert W. and Muriel S. Morgan. He graduated from Topeka West High School in 1977 and later from Topeka Technical School.
Mr. Morgan was a member of Topeka Lodge No. 17 AF&AM and Westminster Presbyterian Church. He was a former member of the Arab Shrine Temple.
Survivors include his mother, Muriel S. Morgan, Topeka; a brother, Kevin E. Morgan, Topeka; and two sisters, Deaun E. Petersen, Kansas City, Mo., and Joyce J. McConnell, Topeka.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Maplewood Cemetery in Emporia. Mr. Morgan will lie in state at the funeral chapel after noon Thursday where visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children, sent in care of the Arab Temple, 1305 S. Kansas Ave., Topeka, 66612-1332.
