Mr. Scott A. Richter, 34, Topeka, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004, at his home. He was born July 21, 1969, in Springfield, Pa., to Leonard S. and Terry L. Caruso Richter. Scott graduated from Topeka West High School in 1987 and attended Washburn University. He was an account executive for Cox Media and previously worked as an outside sales manager for the Topeka Capital Journal. His sales career started with Gragg's Paint. In addition to his parents, Scott is survived by his two sons, Justin and Cody; his sister, Elissa, and her husband, Eric Jones; a nephew, Gage; and a niece, Shayndel Jones; his dearest friend, Laura Burnham, all of Topeka; and his grandmother, Vera Caruso, Fruitland, Mo. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Temple Beth Sholom, 4200 S.W. Munson, Topeka, 66604. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
