Michael Stephen Reed of Spring, TX, passed away July 27, 2023. He was born in Olathe, KS on January 26, 1969 and graciously given up for adoption to Patricia Stein and Mike Reed. From age 11 on, he was very close with his stepfather, Martin Stein.
He was raised in Topeka, KS and graduated Topeka West High School in 1987 and Grace School of Theology in 2022 with a Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies achieving highest honors. Michael married Vicki Lynn Terpening on April 29, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Mike. Michael is survived by his wife Vicki and sons Kyle and Alexander; his mother and father Patricia and Martin Stein; sister Kelsey Stein (Christos Stephanides); cherished Uncle Dale and Aunt Vicky Hofer and Aunt Shirley Haley; two grandsons Malachi and Ezekiel; cousins like siblings Jim Greer, Tracy Davisson, and Trish Keys.
In his honor, Michael's family established the Michael S. Reed Memorial Scholarship Fund at Grace School of Theology, The Woodlands, TX.
