About	Steven "Steve" Troy Sherman, age 52, passed away peacefully at home on December 11, 2021. Steve graduated from Topeka West High School in 1988. After graduation, he spent the winter working at the Keystone Colorado Ski Resort. Later, he became a surveyor and worked on numerous projects in Kansas and the Kansas City area. Steve was always known for his witty sense of humor, endless movie quotes, and bright smile. He was a good artist and enjoyed drawing funny characters and hot rods. He even designed t-shirts for local organizations and events. Steve enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, bow hunting, riding his motorcycle, snow skiing, and boating. He is survived by his life partner Rhonda Jensen; his daughter, Morgan Sherman and her mother, Linda (Pahmahmie) Sherman; his mother, Rhonda Sherman; his father, Sid (Cyrilla) Sherman; his sister, Dawn Michael; his stepbrother, Scott (Brandi) Lee; and his stepsister, Kris Wanamaker. Steve was cremated per his request with a private inurnment to take place at a later date. There will be a celebration of life held April 9, 2022 at Lake Shawnee Shelter House #3 from 12:00 to 2:30 PM.
