Class of 1960

While stationed at RAF Station England I became intimately acquainted with the late Princess Diana's family, the Spencers. Lord Earl Spencer often invited me on the weekends to visit his Estate Althorpe. This was the result of my entertaining the late Princess when she was a little girl and the Earl Spencer never forgot that. The Earl always felt close to me because of our past military experience, and the fact he was a sheep rancher and my late father was a cattle rancher.
