About Me	Computer Geek Right now I'm Not working. I am getting over a bout of Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML)sub type promyelocytic leukemia a fast-growing cancer of the blood and bone marrow.. Was diagnosed with the cancer 5 years ago Oct. 24, 2008. On my birthday. Been to hell and back twice. They did'nt want me, so I guess I hang around for awhile.I'm doing really good right now.Will be taking chemo by mouth now for 2 years. No where near as bad as the other crap they gave me. I have hair Now.Yippie. I have been staying to home and Playing Mr. Mom and hunting,Playing with computers. It's pretty rough i tell ya. I've worked my ass off all my life so I guess I'm justing getting a little break. I finally got back to work in May of 2012 but ran into an issue with my hips. Turned out I have AVN of the hips due to high doses of dexamethasone I received during cancer treatments. I had one hip collapse and replaced in December 2012 and will have the other done when needed. Just had knee surgery to put my right knee cap back in place as it was tracking way to the right and causing it to dislocate. I don't know how long I will be away from work or if I will ever go back.
