Arne E. Sippola, Ph.D.
Class of 1968
Since leaving THS, I received a BA.Ed. from Central Washington University, a MEd. from the University of Alaska, another M.Ed from the University of Washington, and my Ph.D. from the University of Washington. I've taught in public schools in the state of Alaska (Kake, Palmer, and Anchorage) and have taught at Central Washington University, Eastern Washington University, the University of Wisconsin, and Winona State University.
I've published eighteen articles in scholarly journals, three books in the field of literacy education, and presented at international conferences.
This site required documentation of all of this. All one needs to do is "Google" and they will find pages of documentation. I simply would enjoy talking to classmates at THS. As ironic as my classmates might find, I've become less widely unknown.
