FALL RIVER -- Dorothy E. Wordell, 51, of Fall River died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003, at St. Anne's Hospital unexpectedly.
Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Vernon L. and Elizabeth F. (Watters) Wordell, she was raised in Adamsville, R.I., and resided in Fall River most of her life.
Ms. Wordell was employed as a clerk at Cumberland Farms.
She loved her family and her cat and enjoyed needlework.
Survivors include a son, Jeffrey R. Wordell of Fall River; two daughters, Carol L. Wordell of Tiverton, R.I., and Patricia E. Hartnett of Fall River; two brothers, Robert E. Wordell of Denver, Colo., and Leslie G. Wordell of Methuen; three sisters, Mary E. Marchetti of East Dennis, and Alice Beattie and Rita M. Segel both of Tiverton, R.I.; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport.
