About	Bro. Kirt R. Ricks, Jr., age 40, of Winnfield, LA., went home to be with His Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on August 17, 2008. He loved the Lord his God, and he loved his family & friends. He was a wonderful Husband and Father. At the age of 10, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour on August 26th, 1978 at Swartz Baptist Church, Monroe, LA. He was called by God to pastor and he faithfully served as pastor of Berean Baptist Church in Winnfield for ten years. He was an active soul winner and supported U.S. home missions and world missions. Services for Bro. Kirt R. Ricks, Jr., will be held Tuesday August 26th at 2:00 PM at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Winnfield, LA. Visitation will be Monday, August 25th from 5:00 until 9:00 PM and August 26th from 9:00AM until 1:00PM. Those left to cherish his memory include his Wife, Elizabeth Ricks, two Sons, Kirt R. Ricks III, Jeremiah Daniel Ricks, one Daughter, Hannah Elisabeth Ricks all of Winnfield. His Father, Kirt R. Ricks, Sr. of San Antonio, TX, and one brother, Kristopher Ricks, of Hazel Hurst, Miss.
