Keith became my brother-in-law in 1983 when I married his older brother, Rodney Carroll. Keith and I graduated together from Thorsby and was close the last few years. He and Wayne Vickers were two peas in a pod lol. We lost Wayne soon after we graduated together and Keith lost his best friend.
Rodney and Keith worked together at Glidewell Specialty Foundry in Calera for most of their adult lives. Keith had a hard time after Rodney passed away in 2010 from the swine flu but continued on until his death. Matter of fact, Keith hadn’t been home very long when he called 911 and was found unresponsive by the time they got there. It’s been hard for all of us losing 2 brothers and me losing the love of my life. I miss them both very much.
