Favorite School Memory	That everyone seemed to treat each other pretty well. Sure, there were fights, but we didn't need to post metal detectors and the teachers were able to maintain classroom discipline--things that can't always be said about today's schools.
About Me	I got involved in politics during college. After my undergrad degree I got a job with Congressman Hastert and worked for him for 11 years. In the middle of that time I got a Master's in Public Opinion and started a political polling firm. I was diagnosed with cancer during my time in Hastert's office. After surviving that cancer scare, it left me with a few questions, the most important of which was--why did God save me? I concluded that He was calling me to be a priest. I left the Congressman's office in which I was his Deputy Chief of Staff and his Campaign Manager to study in the seminary. After one year in Maryland, my bishop sent me to Rome for five years. I completed my education there and was ordained a priest in 2003. I served at a parish in Crystal Lake, IL for a few years. In the middle of that time I asked the bishop to release me for service in the Air Force. There is a desperate shortage of Catholic priests in all branches of the military. He released me for three years and I am currently as a chaplain at Aviano Air Force base in Italy.
