I was a Airborne Ranger, Combat Engineer, who participated as a member in various campaigns, Operation Just Cause and Operation Enduring Freedom for a total of five combat deployments. I served as NCO in all leadership positions and retired as a Command Sergeant Major with my last assignment being Battalion Command Sergeant Major of the 27th Engineer Battalion(Combat) (Airborne), Fort Bragg, NC.

Retired as a Chief Master Sergeant (E-9) in 2006 after 23 years of distinguished service. Led over 1,000 airmen during combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Survived 17 missile attacks and was awarded two Bronze Stars for meritorious action in combat against an armed enemy force. Before retiring, I led the largest Aircraft Maintenance Inspection team in the United States Air Force, providing oversight and direction for more than 33,000 airmen and over $1.5 billion of warfighting assets.
