Kirk Spano passed away on March 6th, 2009. He was the father of Jennifer Rehka, Rachel Spano and Dominic Spano, and had 6 grandchildren – Max, Alina, Joey, Gabriela, Zack and Erick.
Kirk and I were married in 1984 and divorced in 2005. He had been fighting complications from diabetes.
Anyone who remembers Kirk will know him from Chorus, which is where I first met him. We ran into each other in Jewel one evening in 1983, and as they say, the rest was history!
I am his former wife, Carol Raymond, class of 1984.
