Darlene Bosonetta Hollingsworth

Class of 1963

Bedford, Texas. 2006 Darlene Bosonetta Hollinsgworth founded the only after-school program for teens and young adults with mental/physical challenges in all of northeast Tarrant County. Because of this accomplishment and her achievements since starting THE CLUBHOUSE FOR SPECIAL NEEDS, she was recognized on Good Morning America [May 2009] through a CVS/pharmacy contest as "One of the top ten caregivers in America." 2010 she was recognized as a "Hometown Hero" for the Northeast Tarrant Chamber of Commerce.

She has a son, Jonathan, who was born with Down Syndrome and graduated from High School 2010. Very proud of him.
