Diane McIntire Harris, 64, of Richmond died Sunday, February 23, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, W. B. & Virginia Kirby McIntire. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ed Harris; a daughter, Kelly Eagan (Chris); five sisters, Carol McIntire, Judy Walker (Roy), Sue Sheets, Jean Crews (C. L.) and Cindy Bowman (John); also two nephews, John and Andrew Crews.
Diane was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. She worked for Pleasant’s Hardware; and was a charter member of Derbyshire Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday at Derbyshire Baptist Church. Interment in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National ALS Association at alsa.org.
