| About Me | Went to college and took a bunch of hours but did not earn a degree until I got out of the Army. In 1967 I married and later that year I was drafted into the Army. I was fortunant to get into helicopter flight school and went to Vietnam in Aug 69 and flew with the First Cav out of Phouc Vinh. I was with the 227th Avn Bn, Co. C. In Feb 72 I got out of the Army and went to school at A&M. After having our 2nd child, I decided to forego college and worked in the restaurant business for the next 13 years in the Bryan, College Station area. I divorced in 1983 and moved back to Dallas in 1985. I worked at Doug Stanley Ford in DeSoto as a sales manager up until 2006. I had bought a home in Mineral Wells in 1999 and took up permanant residence here when I left DeSoto. Moving out here has been a blessing that keeps on giving!
