About Obituary
Kenneth R. Krasneski, a beloved family man who loved to be outdoors, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2023. Born on April 27, 1950, to Eleanor and the late Edward Krasneski, Kenneth's zest for life and love for his family were his defining traits.

Kenneth is survived by his devoted wife, Dorothy Krasneski, who was his partner in all of life's adventures. Their love story was one of mutual respect and shared laughter, often fueled by Kenneth's love for cheesy jokes. Together, they raised three children: Melissa (Garrett) Dick, Bryan (Marie) Krasneski, and the late Dustin Krasneski. Kenneth's legacy will continue to live on through his grandchildren, Harper Dick, Ariana Krasneski, and Colton Krasneski, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his sister Judy (Joe) Longo.

Kenneth was a real handyman, always ready to lend a hand or fix a problem. His skills were only surpassed by his willingness to help others. An avid lover of the outdoors, Kenneth found joy in simple pleasures like bike rides and camping trips. His love for the Outer Banks was well-known, and he spent many happy summers there with his family. These trips were not just vacations, but a testament to Kenneth's belief in the importance of family time and creating lasting memories.

Kenneth's love for his family was only matched by his love for life. He had a unique ability to find joy in the simplest things, a trait that he passed on to his children and grandchildren. His laughter, love for cheesy jokes, and handyman skills will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Friends and family will be received on Monday, September 25, 2023 from 12 pm - 2 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236. A funeral service will follow at 2 pm in the funeral home's chapel.
