About	Matt attended from 1997 - 2000, but did not graduate since he was killed in auto accident age 17. He played Football 3 yrs, great Math & SS Student, saved GirlsTennis Coach from attacker. Michelle Monroe, girlfriend of Eric Beiber who was also killed in auto accident, fell asleep at the wheel on aug 2 .. Nicole Laughridge was also passenger. Michelle struck a tree on J St SW only minutes from home, hitting a tree stump next to the road. Eric died soon after arrival to Mercy Hospital. Matt was in coma for 4 days then died of brain death. His camping pillow saved the girls lives said EMTS. Hundreds of students from ALL Highschools incldg Linmar & Marion attended Matts funeral . He was VERY WELL LOVED by ALL his friends, and family .. he was 6'3 but very tenderhearted. He loved sports, the outdoors, his family, friends and dog, Capone. His MEMORY still lives on.. Matt took his friends to Church. Though not always perfect, he led a repented God-loving life, and we that believe SHALL BE WITH HIM on CHRIST'S RETURN !
