About Me	I was born in Staunton, Va and grew up in Alexandria, VA. After graduating from Jefferson I went to NVCC for a while until I got a job working for the Army in Morale,Welfare, and Recreation. I made a career of it and loved every minute. It often took me to Bavaria, Korea, Italy, Hawaii, and Walt Disney World in Orlando where we built a hotel for Armed Forces Personnel. At 24, I married my husband, Mike, who was an active duty soldier. I got a wonderful 11-year-old daughter in the bargain. Immediately after we married we went to live in Frankfurt, Germany. We had many exciting adventures traveling through Europe. A particularly memorable trip was to East Berlin before the wall came down. After our tour in Germany, we came back to our home in Maryland. I continued my career with the Army for over 20 years before retiring. Early in my career I attended Maryland University. I have been happily married for 34 years.
