About	John was an exchange student from Australia with the American Field Service in 1968/9 and played an active role on the Track Team. He returned to Tulsa numerous times, including on a full scholarship to earn a Management degree at the University of Tulsa. John held a deep affection for Tulsa and his many friends there, considering it his second home and even named his boat "Tulsa Time." John passed away unexpectedly in Ballina, Australia, on August 17, 2024.
