About	Gary can best be remembered for being on the air, at Thomas Downey High's first radio station. He was very passionate about it. Gary was a professor, loved by all his students and colleagues. He travelled to many poor countries, bringing aid to many of the less fortunate - all gifts paid for, by Gary. He was very in tune with politics, having run for Governor in Louisiana, at one time. Gary was undergoing cancer treatment. He passed unexpectedly in his home, on his birthday. He will be dearly remembered.
