Carla and I texted occasionally and one time (a year or so ago) I received a text from a family member notifying me of her passing. I don't recall the date, and I haven't found any obit or notification online. She was a sweetheart and I stayed at her home at the last TDHS reunion a few years ago. She is loved and missed by many.

Carla was a relative that I didn't know about until my father passed away in 2001 I met her at my father's memorial. We kept in touch via email for some time. She shared her crocheting work with me (on-line). I knew she was battling cancer and had made the decision to go off of Chemo. I hadn't heard from her since that communication. Sorry to hear of her passing.
