About Me	After graduating in 1967 I found I was not ready for college (flunked out of Southwest Texas State 1968) and was drafted into the Army September 1969. Seems there were a few others in the same boat as my basic training class at Ft Bliss, El Paso had several Bubba's from Roosevelt and Mac. After 3 yrs in Nixon's Army I rambled around the country for a while and ended up in Wilmington NC and returned to college. A 2 yr degree in Marine Technology introduced me to offshore seismic research for oil and then loading and unloading ships. From 1979 to 1990 I worked mostly commercial cargos and with Desert Shield in 1990 then Desert Storm I found myself shipping military cargo, mostly ammunition.
