Obituary of Bonnie Boeck (Foster) Bochat
IN THE CARE OF
Porter Loring Mortuary - McCullough
Bonnie Sue ascended into heaven on February 13, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bonnie was born in San Antonio, TX to Jimmie and Joanne Boeck. Bonnie is survived by her siblings, Terry A. Boeck and wife Kathleen Boeck, Jimmie W. Boeck and wife Diane Boeck; her husband, Bill Bochat; son, Justin McDonnell and wife Jessica McDonnell; daughter, Lacey Skelton and husband Brian Skelton; stepchildren, Cherie Richter and husband Tommy, Danielle Guido and husband Cosmo, Trey Bochat; her grandchildren, Blakely Skelton, Hayes Skelton, Emersyn Skelton, Adalynn Sue McDonnell, Brandon Wulf and Bill’s grandchildren Parker Kelly Richter and Marchesi Lorelli Guido. Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, mother, and previous husband of 20 years William Foster.

She graduated from Roosevelt High School where she was a member of the Patriot Dance Team. Bonnie then attended North Texas University in Denton, TX and went to work for Braniff Airways. She married Clint McDonnell and moved back to San Antonio where their two children were raised. She later went back to college and received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio. She worked at Aesthetic Enhancement for over 25 years as an R.N.

Bonnie was a friend to all. A rare quality that was accomplished by being the most unassuming, non-judgmental, warm, and respectful person that she was. She enjoyed re-connecting with old friends as well as meeting new people and building friendships. There were many good times shared with family and friends at the pool and beach. She enjoyed being by the water, just not in it! She stayed involved with her children’s activities as they grew up. Whether it was a football game or swimming meet, she never missed an event. Bonnie loved going on family vacations and was able to travel to many places around the world. Bonnie’s patients were important to her, and she enjoyed spending time with them outside of work. She adored her grandchildren, and nothing made her happier than spending time with them.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 1st, 2023, at 10am at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2102 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, Tx 78232.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.porterloring.com for her family.
