About Me	I grew up in Theodore, Alabama and gradudated from Theodore High School in June 1966. On June 8, 1968 I married my high school sweetheart, David C. Jordan. We were married for 39 years. He died of cancer in August 2007. We have two sons and three grandchildren. I retired in July 2008 after 28 years of working for the Department of Defense as a civilian. I love retired life with no more work stress and alarm clocks. I met my current husband, Mike Linday, on Christian Dating for Free internet dating site. Like me, Mike lost his wife of 43 years to cancer. Our plan was to be pen pals since he lived in Virginia and I lived in South Carolina. We had an opportunity to meet each other in October 2009 and realized that we had a lot in common including our love of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We decided that we wanted to continue to see each other to see what would become of our relationship. To make a long story short, we fell in love and were married on April 17, 2010 at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church, Waynesboro,VA. We felt early on that God had planned for us to meet and fall in love. God knew that Mike and I were very lonely and hurting. We both loved our deceased spouses very much and had such good and happy marriages.
