What is Daniel Lasco known for?

Daniel Lee Lasco II, an accomplished NFL player, was born on October 9, 1992, and hails from The Woodlands, Texas. His initial foray into the world of football began at The Woodlands High School, where he achieved noteworthy records as a running back, including the most career rushing yards and the highest number of touchdowns.

After high school, Lasco went on to play for the University of California, Berkeley, where he redshirted his first year in 2011. He played his first game as a redshirt freshman in 2012 and continued to contribute to the team's overall success. His junior year saw him rush for 1,115 yards on 210 carries with 12 touchdowns, making a significant impact on the field.

Lasco's professional career kicked off in 2016 when he was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the seventh round of the NFL Draft. Known for his agility and speed, Lasco set a combine record at the NFL Combine that year for his 11-foot, three-inch broad jump - the longest by a running back since 2006. Despite a spine injury in 2017 that led to a bulging disc diagnosis, his spirit was undeterred. He continued to be a part of the Saints until 2019.

During his stint in the NFL from 2016 to 2018, Lasco made 11 rushing attempts, gaining 32 rushing yards. He also had two receptions, which resulted in 11 receiving yards. His contribution on the field, although short-lived due to his injury, was indeed commendable. You can view more of his career statistics on NFL.com.
