Enlisted. Was a rigger-packed parachutes. Despite fear of height, took tests for flight training. Was accepted. Was terrified. Pilot for 26 years. 22 diferent kinds of aircraft. More lucky, than good. Still alive. Great was stories, especially in a bar... (:-)

Service as a crew chief on flying status assigned to the 79th Air Rescue flying missions out of Guam and Urdon, Thailand, Where we flew rescue missions deep into North Vietnam. THan later reassigned to Vietnam with the 315 CAMS flying supplies to army posts. Then to Japan for an easy assignment, then on to WPAFB in Ohio as a Flight Engineer in Aircraft Training Wing. 1964-1972
