| Favorite School Memory | As a tenth grader, I had just made up an assignment after school for Ms. Riojas, black-leather-wearing motorcycle-riding biology teacher, who claimed week-end motorcycle jaunts on country roads so as to reap road kill for her class. A frog had just completed the honors of being my first disection victim, and my hands stunk like frog guts! I appeared at the top of a stairway, only to see my fellow actor, senior John Broders, at the foot of the stairs. | About Me | I was married for seventeen years (now divorced for the past twenty-one years). That marriage did provide a support system for me to attend colleges and universities, earning a master's degree, along with teacher certification in four areas (theatre; speech; English; and English as a Second Language). Now retired, as of May 2005, I did teach in ten different school districts throughout Texas. Mostly, I was a high school theatre teacher/director, but also taught speech and English.
