| About Me | I married at 18, but it didn't work out. Remarried 33 years ago. I have 6 children,1 granddaughter, 1 grandson and 2 grandbabies on the way. I own 2 cats and 2 dogs. After, my love for God & family, my passion is for paper, rubber stamping/paper crafts+ computer crafts. I was born and grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to a single parent.We spent holidays in Manitou, Manitoba, where my Mum grew up. At the age of 13 we moved to Vancouver, BC. I became an East Ender.I married at the age of 18 and had my first little boy 2 weeks after my 20 birthday. My first husband and I separated.He was imprisoned before our little guy was even a year old. After my husband was released from prison he moved to Cranbrook, BC. I was living in Coquitlam. When he asked me to come and visit him, myself and my 4 year old son flew to Cranbrook in 1978. Due to my husbands drinking we ended up in a motorcycle accident. I spent 3 months in traction in the Cranbrook Hospital. I broke all of my ribs, so many times that the radiologist gave up counting the cracks and breaks. I also, broke my femur, crippling me for the rest of my life. When I went off the bike and came down, it rammed the lower part of the broken leg and femur up to my hip. I spent the next year in Cranbrook, divorced and a single parent , trying to recouperate. It was then that I met the Lord and became a Christian. I didn't know very many people in Cranbrook,and it was very difficult for me with no family around. So I decided to move back to the coast and moved to Langley for about a year. Eventually, I moved to Sparwood, and was married to Michael, in the Fernie Salvation Army Church. In '81 we moved to Fernie, gave birth to a son & attended the Pentecostal Church. A year later, we moved back to Cranbrook, and attended Praise Fellowship Church. In the fall of '83 Shean began to attend Praise Fellowship Christian School, and I gave birth to our only daughter! In '86, Jesse began to also attend PFCS, and I gave birth to our third son! Tammy began school at PFCS in '88. In '90, the house we were renting sold. I gave birth to our fifth child, a son, that Christmas, and had to begin packing. Feb '91 we moved into the Sandman Hotel, and lived there till Apr, then moved into our first house that we bought. That fall, Cameron began school at PFCS. We gave birth to our 6th child, a son in '93, and our oldest, Shean graduated from PFCS. In Aug '94 we moved to our present home.
