About Me	Following our graduation form Tempe High School in 1973, I attended Arizona State University. A few days prior to graduation from ASU in 1977, I married THS (and ASU) classmate Pamela Cable. We moved to Tucson, where Pamela did an internship in Clinical Dietetics at the Medical School and got her Masters of Science degree from U of A; I taught school. In 1979, we moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where I attended law school. Upon my graduation in 1982, I joined the Legal Organization of Shell Oil Company in Houston. I subsequently held a number of positions within Shell’s Legal Organization in the United States, the United Kingdom and The Netherlands. While in Houston, Pamela and I had two daughters: Meredith and Elizabeth. Pamela then went to law school and became a member of the Texas Bar, specializing in Medical Malpractice litigation defense. Upon our return from London, I had the opportunity to lead a number of Shell’s subsidiary businesses, serving as a Vice President of Tejas Gas Corporation, Sr. Vice President of Coral Energy, President of Shell Midstream Enterprises and President of Shell US Gas & Power. I concluded my 30+ year Shell career in Houston, as Executive Vice President & General Counsel of Shell Oil Company. Following my retirement from Shell, I briefly joined the faculty of the University of Tulsa College of Law as the Distinguished Visiting Dorwart Chair in Energy Law, where I am also a member of the Sustainable Energy and Resource Law Board of Visitors. Currently, I am Vice Chair of the Arizona State University Trustees, a member of the Executive Board of the Institute for Energy Law and a Trustee Emeritus of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Foundation.
