I didn't go to many concerts but this one year The Police, were in concert so my sister and I went to see them. I saw tons of classmates there. It was a fantastic show and The Thompson Twins opened followed by Madness. Lastly, The Police, came on and the crowd went wild. I thought wow, that's Sting, in person. It was a great. show. However, we all had to stand for several hours in the tremendous heat! Afterwards, my sister and I walked home to beat the traffic jams. It must have been a couple two or three miles at least. We were totally wiped out so we stopped to get something to drink and snacks but man it was a long, hot day and evening but worth it.
Sadly, in 2003, my sister died from brain cancer. All my memories of her faded or were blocked out somehow. Slowly, they have returned but I would do it all again, sis!
