Class of 1993
Army, 10 Years
Joined the Army in May 1999. Went to FT. Knox for Cavalry Scout OSUT. Stateside assignments include Ft. Riley, KS; Ft. Lewis, WA; Ft. Knox, KY; Moving to Ft. Campbell in April 2009. Overseas include Korea and on tour in Iraq. Going to Aphganastan in January 2010.

Air Force, 4 Years
Signed 6 month early enlistment in Dec 1975. Started basic in June 1976. Spent 6 weeks at Lackland Air Force Base for basic training. Left for Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls Texas for technical training. Was a student leader (yellow rope) during training. Graduated and was assigned to Columbus Air Force Base in Dec 1976. Served proudly until June 1980.

After commissioning from Officer Training School in 1984, I was trained as a helicopter pilot at Fort Rucker, AL. After gaining my wings, I stayed as a First Assignment Instructor Pilot instructing AF and Army undergraduate student pilots in basic flying, instrument flying and combat tactics. After that I went through the AF's Fixed-Wing Qualification Course at Vance AFB, OK. Upon graduation, we moved to Offutt AFB, NE where I flew the EC-135 and the T-38. I finished my active-duty commitment flying flight test missions on the -135. I was subsequently assigned to the USAF Reserve as a T-1 Instructor Pilot where I attained the rank of Lt Colonel. I retired in 2005.
