About Me	a.k.a. Becky Snyder Attended John Minadeo Elementary, Greenfield Jr. High, Taylor Allderdice High School (graduated 1966) Used to sing (emphasis on "used to"). University of Miami, A.B. (French and Secondary Education), University of Miami, M.Ed. (Guidance and Counseling) Taught for Miami-Dade Public Schoolsl for almost three decades... K - Adult Ed Acted in community theater. Always played an eccentric character. Hmm... wonder why. Have been retired for the past twelve years. During my career of teaching a variety of subjects in the Miami-Dade Public Schools for almost thirty years I was privileged to receive one of two scholarships awarded to French teachers in Florida. A glorious summer at the Université de Nice kindled my wanderlust. I’m spending my retirement traveling for pleasure. Since 9/11, Al and I have made more than 130 trips. We’ve been to Europe dozens of times, have taken 35 cruises, and have visited every continent… with the exception of Australia. (That’s next on the Bucket List!) What cherished memories… a slow camel ride at the Pyramid of Giza… the sparkling, blinding white of Antarctic snow… blue-gray haze along the Yangtze… the bright tapestry of autumn in the Swiss Alps… the flash of sunrise at the top of Maui’s Mt.
