Beloved son of the late Samuel and Betty Weiss; brother of Janet Weiss Schnur, and the late Armand Weiss, and Barbara Weiss Cutone; also survived by his significant other, Carole Kaufman. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Arrangements by BEST FUNERAL HOME, Chandler, AZ. Interment in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.

Jemm used to sit in front of me in Speech class with Mrs. Mussoff. Carolyn Roth sat in front of him. One of my best memories of that class was talking and laughing with Jemm and Carolyn before class, and during lulls. We also tried to assuage our butterflies about giving a speech by getting smiles from each other.

I am sad that he is no longer with us. He helped raise my spirits when I was anxious in class.
