About	Current Funeral Services Melton, Robert W. (45) Robert W. Ã¢â‚¬Å“RobÃ¢â‚¬Â Melton, 45, father of Brian A. Melton, died unexpectedly Friday, July 4, 2008 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. A native of Lexington, he was the son of Robert T. and Patsy J. Melton of Lexington. He was employed by Interlake Material Handling, Inc. as an electrician in robotics. He served in the US Marine Corps and Reserves and was activated during Desert Storm. In addition to his son and parents, survivors include a brother, Jeffrey (Aylett) Melton, Wilmore, KY; a sister, Katherine (Ted) Hardwick, Lexington; nephew, Sean Melton; two nieces, Clare Hardwick and Lilly Hardwick; special friend, Tina Gribbin, Junction City, KY; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Milward-Southland. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers are Dudley Burberry, James Conner, Jerry Conner, Ted Hardwick, Mathew Melton, and John Powell. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
