Just letting classmates of 75 that our 40th year Reunion will take place on Saturday, September 12th, 2015 at Casa de Valdez, here in Taos, NM. According to Loretta Gonzales, it will be simple and will just be a dinner, "We will have three dinner choices for the meal: broiled shrimp skewers, half barbeque chicken, and an eight or 12 oz. rib eye steak. Prices range from $13.00 to $25.00 for dinner with a couple of sides. They are offering happy hour prices for a few things in the bar. General price ranges for beer are $2.50, house wines at $5.00, glass house margaritas are $6.50 and well drinks are $3.50. Their number is 575-758-8777. Please make reservations soon if you can and possibly a meal choice when you call. It will help them very much. I think these choices make the evening more affordable to all. Please spread the word."
Taos High School Class of 1989 will be celebrating their 20-year reunion July 24th -26th. Meet your former classmates at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Club on Friday night for a social at 8pm. Come enjoy appetizers and cocktails at the OBL from 6-8 on Saturday Night followed by dancing at 8pm. On Sunday, bring the whole family to the Taos Ski Valley for a picnic at 12pm at the base of lift 1. Bring a side dish and your own beverage (or purchase them on site). Ride the lift, play disc golf, volleyball or just hang out and take pleasure in good company.
