About Event
On Friday August 19th, as a meet-and-greet for those staying at local hotels, we will have an impromptu session at the Recovery Sports Grill in the Hilton Garden Inn on Hoosick Street in Troy. We’ll meet at 7:00 PM and enjoy a couple of beers, wine or whatever.
On Saturday, we will join the Crispy Cruise Lager Fest on the Captain JP Cruise Line. Boarding will begin at 12:30 PM and the cruise will be from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Parking is available adjacent to the cruise boarding location. After the cruise we will disperse to local downtown entertainment in the form of local pubs. Choices include Browns Brewing Company, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que and Ryan’s Wake. Reservations are required for the cruise and are only available through the Crispy Cruise Lager Fest.
On Sunday the 21st some of us will continue the weekend at the Saratoga Racetrack to take in the atmosphere of this world-famous location. The races start at 1:05 PM and we’ll set up some tables for our get-together around 11:00 AM. I would recommend parking across from the Oklahoma practice track and entering at Gate B. General admission is $10.00.
We may even do a breakfast in the Latham area around 9 AM dependent upon conversations on Saturday.
