| About Me | Father Lt Col in Army so moved every 3 yrs. Born in Milwaukee but left at 2 yrs old. Lived in Occupied Germany (Mom full German but immigrated at 3 mos from Russia-born 1913), No Carolina, Greece (Dad full Greek but born in USA 1910), then Ca where Dad's last post was the Presidio. At 18 married GI in Air Force. Lived in Kansas (oh god flat!), TN, NM, and Japan. Divorced and returned to Mill Valley. Parents moved to Sonoma so I followed along. Lived there 55 yrs w/ 1 yr in Sierra Mtns. Sister and I inherited parents' house lived there 14 yrs. She is now 88 w/ dementia and disabled. I am 78 and handicapped due to arthritis and couldn't take care of her anymore. She moved back to TN to live with son. Sold house and I and my cat live in 1 son's family room until granny unit completed w/everything still in storage.
