About	Liz thoroughly enjoyed life, being active outdoors. She was engaged to marry Jim Thomson (class of 1971 as well) in the Spring of 1976. Liz drowned while swimming in a river outside of Yosemite Valley while Jim was finishing a geology field course in the mountains south of Lake Tahoe.
