Heidi and I were best friends from our days at Stewart Elem. and throughout our lives. As children we hatched plans to become detectives and one day ending up in a brownstone in New York City. My family moved away which broke my heart. I was happy to move back to Oxford where I graduated. Throughout our lives Heidi and I would find each other. The last time was when my granddaughter got me on Facebook and found Heidi in San Francisco. She became an artist of reknown. I loved her work, she was so talented. I only wish I could have purchased one of her works. I am grateful for the times we spent together and the times we spent on the phone. Heidi was an important person in my life. I will never forget her. She was my friend. I loved her.
