Nov. 4, 2023 I saw Claudia on the front cover of our Grade 2 reading/writing/arithematic/art folder with Miss Reed. Claudia was my best friend at Hanover, and we were in despair the next year (Grade 3) when we were separated because of the addresses of our homes. However, it was resolved later that year when my family moved from Old Oxford Rd. to Boyle Rd. What joy there was In each of us when my bus number changed!
Claudia did a better job keeping track of friends as we went out in the world, and I am grateful that she searched for me. She was a good friend, and I still miss her. I did make it to Salt Lake City for her second marriage (her first husband had died), but she came to Baltimore to see us after that. Here's to Claudia and good friends
