The bulk of my service was aboard USS Meredith (DD-890), a Gearing-class destroyer. I was based in US Naval Station in Mayport, Florida. I completed a WESTPAC and 2 MED cruises, incl. Vietnam gun-line duty in 1969. I am proud to have served my America.
