Voices Unlimited Chorus Accepting New Singers

Good Morning Fellow Taft Alumni!

As a Taft Alumni, I'm David Barth, the Founder and Director of The Voices Unlimited Chorus and this is one of two times each year when we accept new singers.

Our Christmas/Holiday Concert…A Christmas Invitation…is Sunday, December 7th at 3:00pm hosted by Immanuel Lutheran Church in East Dundee. That’s where we sang our very first concert and sold out all 330 seats! The program we’ve put together is dynamite, with a combination of both scared and secular Christmas music. Do You Hear What I Hear?, The Little Drummer Boy, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and Mighty King are just several of the familiar selections we’ll be singing.

If you would like to sing with us, we’d love to have you! And the best part is you don’t have to read music, be a soloist or even audition. Yes, we have solo quality voices and yes, we have members who read. But it’s not a requirement for membership. The three requirements are you want to sing, have fun doing it and make new friends!

Our rehearsals begin Tuesday, September 9th and are held at Journey of Hope Methodist Church at the corner of Highland and Randall in Elgin, the first stoplight north of where Randall crosses over Route 20. We'll rehearse each Tuesday from 6:45 to 8:30 and we’ll do that until our concert on Sunday, December 7th.
