About	Douglas Sidney Parkinson was born in Mitchell, SD on 16, Jan. 1951 and died of cancer in Virginia. Doug moved to Pierre in 1963. He attended USD-graduated in 1973. He then attended Hastings School of Law in California. He practiced law in Alaska where he met his wife, Mary Palau. Doug is survived by his wife, father, and brothers.
