About Me Like high school,I got into alot of trouble afterwards.I joined the Army and got kicked out.I went to jail for awhile.I was really just a fool at that time.If anyone can remember, this is true of me then.I met a great women and she changed me completely. If it wasnt for her I would probably be dead or in jail now.For her I am very grateful and have been very humbled.I did alot of heavy equipment mechanic work and some semi truck towing.I tried my hand at being my own boss for a while as an owner operator(truck-driver).I did this for about 7 years,I was successful but it had a price of not being around the house much.Which wasnt my idea of family life,so I stopped doing that.I did get to see alot of the U.S. though..I worked a few trucking jobs after that.I settled in at ABF Freight System and have been there for going on 13 years now,it is a good Union job. When I left high school I did not have my diploma because I could not pass Mrs Swallows class (which was a state requirement) although I had enough credits to graduate.I contacted Ms. Kanellakas before she retired.(She was also my guidance counselor)She set me up with the home schooling equal to Mrs.Swallows U.S. Government class and I passed with an A. It was very easy when I put my mind to it.There was just something about Mrs. Swallow that kept me from finishing her class.Anyways,Ms. Kanellakas then gave me a diploma.Since then I am officially a member of the class of 81.That was cool. I coached alot of kids baseball, and remembered how much I enjoyed the game and then joined an oldfarts league in Lansing.I have to thank Ron Rossis father for that he was a great baseball coach.I bought a home in Cal City near the old vocational center, lived there for 17 years. Then bought a home with a little more than 7 acres and moved to Lake Village.I have a lot of trees and a lot of piece and quite. Not alot of nosey neighbors. Taking it easy as we are getting older. Oldest boy has given us 2 grandaughters, kinda fits with the getting older thing. ...(read more)
