About Me	Born in Brevard in '59. Raised in Pisgah Forest, attending Penrose Elementary and Brevard Middle School. Moved to Forest City when I was 13, attending Cool Springs Middle and East Rutherford High my freshman year. Moved to Arden and attended TC Roberson High where I played football, threw shotput and discus, took banjo lessons for 2 years, was in the Beta Club, and had a role in the Senior play...graduating in '78. Worked and went to UNCA part-time for several years, taking semesters off as work/life required, and finally graduating UNCA in '87. Was a member of the legendary Mud 500 Club while there. Got married in '83. Had our sons in '90 and '94. Hunted, fished, fly fished, tied flies, did taxidermy, worked a lot, and made my sons my priority in life. Watched baseball games, a ton of soccer games, some track events, and several years of football between the two of them, as well as Odessy of the Mind competitions, VBS plays, PTA programs, and band concerts they participated in. Now, at 50, one is in college and the youngest is a junior in high school, works, and hangs out with his buddies. Both are great sons and neither has ever done anything mean-spirited...(read more)
