About Me	I have been a medical transcriptionist since prior to graduation from high school with college in between. Took me 17 years going part-time but I got my BA in Music Performance from UAB in 1994. Nobody ever told me you could get a college degree just by singing! I am also an "honorary" graduate of Judson College in Marion, Alabama, as I have accompanied my two sisters, who both graduated Judson, to their J-Day festivities for about 30 years now. We have fun and it gives us a chance to spend time together. I am the contralto soloist in the Alabama Civic Chorale's annual performance of Handel's Messiah. Performance is held at Riverchase United Methodist Church usually on the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving. I have been singing with the Chorale for 35 years. Mo...(read more)
